I WENT TO THE TWILIGHT MARKET YESTERDAY XD
P.S. it's not the stephenie meyer version of twilight so those that wants to use it against me can shut up.

I just realised that the New Zealand version of pasar malam is apparently called a Twilight market.
I know, it's pretty cool.

So it's not a few rows of stalls on the roadside like a typical pasar malam, but it's like a funfair thing- it takes place in a huge field, and the stalls are surrounding the field, with the centre for people to sit and picnic.

Okay, I noticed that 50% of the people that went to the twilight market bought their dogs as well; so dogs were roaming everywhere! ...now that's something you don't see everyday.
Did I mention? The dogs are mostly purebred type, poodles, retrievers, those glam dogs you see in movies. AHHHH!

And the food they sell is so different! Crepes, meat loaves, COTTON CANDY, easter chocolates, toffee apple, fritters- so I decided to have dinner in the market =p
There's a huge spot for people to sit on the ground and start eating, you know. It's pretty cool how you can just sit in the middle of the road and nobody cares. :D

Well, that's it for today, I'm planning to stay home the whole day today because it's so SUNNY today. The chances of getting skin cancer here is higher than in Malaysia due to the stupid "ozone layer depletion" case. We blame it on the U.S. - they pollute the air then the wind blew the ozone hole to right above Australia and New Zealand. LOL hahaha

To those that doesn't know.. I'm in New Zealand! x)
When I first arrived here, I hated this place.

The largest mall is smaller than Jusco Cheras Selatan; the mall is 30 minutes walk away (which includes walking up a hill and crossing a few fields with cows) which crosses out walking to the mall in stilettos.
Yes, I'm proudly announcing that I CAN wear stilettos! Incredible, isn't it? :D

The next thing I hated about this place : Every morning, you wake up and you take a deep breath of the fresh air... my ass.
It smells like cow dung outside, mainly because there's GRASS everywhere; and NO- they're not real cow dung.

Besides that, this small town has absolutely nothing to offer- I can go to town, (that 30 minute walk away thing) or hang out around the place I stay which includes a vegetable shop, a DVD rental shop and a few takeout restaurants. Boring much? *scoff*

So since there's not much places to go to, I pretty much end up going to random places a few times a week. Places such as the beach, mini golf, the park, dinner in the city, on hilltops; visiting volcanoes- that kind of stuff.
SO that means I only meet with my sister's friends; and making new friends is tough.

But the thing I hated MOST about this place is the ridiculous time zone.! I'd be lucky to have 5 msn chat windows now :(
The 5 hour difference means that when I'm online, nobody else is.
...wel, not really nobody. Just the usual "somebody"s. you know.
I miss friends. I miss going out at night (did I mention? shops here close at 5pm IN THE CITY!)
I miss having fun with friends. I miss teasing the family. I miss shopping for shoes. I miss my computer (because this laptop sucks *DADDYYY*) ..and I miss going to my own church :(

I miss spending my MYR on fancy food and things I like- I miss spending MY OWN MONEY.
FYI- no, I'm not spending my own money here which means I cannot spoil myself. It's the most pathetic case I've ever been in. I miss going to the movies, I miss riding in my friend's cars, I miss my friends calling me at 12am just to talk, I miss smsing (although I dont sms often), I miss waking up with a smile because there's a message on my phone, I miss having a few people saying "HIIII" at the moment I'm online- instead of signing in and waiting for people to come online.

I sound like a desperate maniac, and trust me- I was exaggerating =x
I miss cracking jokes and cracking up too :(

But I'm starting to like this place, now that it's almost been 2 weeks I'm here.
Because.. Gossip Girl and Ugly Betty latest seasons already started playing here :D
Okay, it's a shallow reason: but I ALSO found out that New Zealand is a country that offers ALL TYPES OF ADVENTUROUS ACTIVITIES XD such as : bungee jumping, lurging, skydiving, canoeing in river rapids, DUCK FEEDING.. (hehe xD)
Besides that, the people here are really friendly- I'm so used to saying hi to strangers now ^^

My family likes it here too, so it can't be that bad, can it? Just trying to make the best out of this trip. I'm going to Rotorua in April <33><
Then I don't have to travel alone, you know.

Another question that has been haunting me lately : Lynn now that you have your SPM results, what's your next step?

....how the heck would I know.
Everybody seems so *full speed ahead* towards their next goal in life, towards their future. I'm so glad I talked to Hema till 4am yesterday, talking to her makes me feel better. =)
She told me how many times she cried after she got her results- and I was so relieved I wasn't the only one.

Okayy it's almost 4pm now, and I wanna bathe becauseeee I'm going out!

Okay, so far, my job?

But it's funny how certain people treat the staff- as if they're the smartest and the staff is some dumb dude paid to just stand there.

Okay, so I went to Pavillion yesterday to watch Avatar..

the movie; so-so lar~

Kidding xD

IT'S A BLOODY GOOD SHOW.

I watched it in 3D xDDD

So I was at Pavillion with my 2 sisters and cousin and cousin's girlfriend...

Strollng around hoping to find some hot guy shopping with his filthy rich mother;

when suddenly my cousin introduced his friend and says;

"hey this is my friend, his father owns and runs this place."

I was like, hardy har har this guy is so funny.

Then my cousin went;

"y'know, GSC Pavillion?"

Well, I had to give some kind of reaction didn't I.

So I went like, *oh, wow, awesome*

Then that dude just went "we have in-house tickets" and passed us a big bag of popcorn.

With a few bottles of water.

Imagine that! in-house 3D tickets with free popcorn!

And it's Avatar we're watching!!

And when we were chatting outside with that manager's son guy,

turns out that he is an ex-Perimbun student.

Like, that was unexpected. Seriously.

Anyway, I had fun- I'd rate that movie 9/10 because there were too many flies in the movie and I keep swatting at thin air because of the 3D effect.

My new ambition (which my sister thinks I already achieved) :

True, true I've been really quiet and dead lately..

So I was busy after the pain-in-the-butt is over and done with; knowledge seems so far away from me now.

Like, really far.

I can't play Cluedo properly because I hadn't used my brain in a while.

Also, I proudly announce that I HAVE A JOB!!

I, Chan Yee Lynn, the oh-so-talented-and-under-appreciated blonde have a job.

*this is getting so emotional- I'm finally growing up*

So I'm starting work in Seed as a part-timer (*scoff* just because I'm going to be working for only two months doesn't mean they have to reject my application okay) at 28th December 2009.

So it's ten days from now; I really can't wait! :D

I managed to read some novels with the measly time I have; and I LOVE Sophie Kinsella's Twenties Girl.

I just love it. Sophie is such a great and hilarious writer.

I literally laughed when I read it. Literally.

Also, my 120GB HDD (namely, AhLynn) is finally filled with the #2 America's favourite TV show episodes, GLEE. Yes, it's introduced by my sister and a few of my church friends. Can't wait to watch it!!

It also contains Ugly Betty and Vampire Diaries- and a bunch of other movies.

Igor sucks.

So, my sissy is back, and she sleeps in this computer room thing, so I can't really stay up late. Because she needs to sleep with the lights off, and I obviously can't play with the lights off- (gaming, blogging and chatting is just not worth wearing glasses for the rest of your life) so I have to sleep early.

There's something wrong with this bloody computer, it keeps restarting itself when I'm in the middle of a very exciting PK. Sigh, sadness.

This is getting very long, and I still hadn't figured out what to put as the title.

I have a problem with titles.

Moving on, I just realised I have a really short attention span, and it's deteriorating by the second. Brains are so hard to maintain =(

I woke up at 7 this morning.

...Anyway, so I figured I will have nothing to do- I looked around my room.

I was shocked.

So I was off with a good I-wanna-do-chores-today! mood xD

So then my parents went out to buy more cement for the renovation.

TODAY was different!

I was at the door.

So off I ran in my very loose pants and shirt with my hair sakai-ly organised,

into the streets and after the dog.

I forgot to lock the door on my way out and got sounding x.X

All her fault =x

So I decided to punish her for like the first time ever.

And my heart sort of melted.

How could you say no to that face?

It didn't stop whining at me for 5 minutes, so I figured she might be thirsty.

She's not even responding to me now.

She thought she won over me!! I think NOT!

So then finally I let her go with a hug. I couldn't take it.

So we went to the Book Fest in KLCC today.

~getting pretty angry just thinking about it.

Anyway, feel pretty happy because I bought a books for PAVIJONAS xD

She was literally screaming on the phone.

Wow, that was fun 0.o

So there's this doctor guy that checks the temperature for all visitors.

And I kind of fell backwards when he put that scanner thing on my forehead.

LIKE, I don't even know it was supposed to touch my forehead!

I know, retard right.

Anyway, so we had fun in the book fest, probably because of the random stuff that happened.

For instance, Ginny's entrance.

Then all of us went to the Chinese part of the book fest,

the COOLEST part ever.

They have unedible fortune cookies.

Then I had to leave before having lunch with them, to have lunch with my dad.

..in Times Square.

Weird, going into a mall just to have lunch.

My legs are still hurting because my stupid brains told me that my common sense was missing.

Thus I wore heels to a convenction. :)

Ginny joined me in pain. And there was once we just could not stand it anymore,

we just sat down in front of the Bubblegummers slide that Felicia wanted to ride on so badly =x

Until we realised that nobody noticed we were missing.

Okay, I think I am addicted to moving pictures on flatscreens (yet again) ...sigh.

Just when I thought my addiction to movies and videos were over...!!

Anyway, trials is in 6 days *canyoubelieveitiactuallyknowthefigure* AND all the group studying did help, but trust me- YOU CANNOT DEPEND ON STUDY GROUPS.

*Especially if you end up with a group like the one I'm in; distraction isn't really an option.

ANYWAY,

I accidently clicked on my old playlist, namely LyNnxD in the Media Player about an hour ago.

Honestly, those animes are one of the best I watched so far.

Anyway, today Angela, Ginny and I were litterally screaming in class.

Trust me, Angela was in on this.

SO, the Y! magazines were distributed in class, and everybody was reading,

there was always something that arouses interest among our fellow classmates.

Which was close to none, bee tee double-you.

And yep! Our class has a devastatingly small amount of metros.

Only 2. *sigh*

Gays are not counted, so half of the class guys are out of the list.

Then Gin, MK, KC and I got carried away and continued talking about metros through Chemistry.

And for Moral... I forgot what happened.

Then during Bio, everybody was filling that eyesore of a green card;

that KOKO card that brought the whole class to a movement towards all sorts of teachers.

I decided to do it at the eleventh hour, as usual.

But as usual, my last minute work is always done on time.

I'm on a diet, by the way.

And by that I mean I'm trying to lose weight.

Which means I have abstained myself from chocolate ice cream.

The good news is- I'm not gaining any weight now!

The bad news is- Im not losing any either.

Which explains the depression- girls can't live without the presence of endorphine boosting snacks, such as melting, bittersweet and downright addictive chocolate.

I need to add that Ginny is not normal. (she hates that brown stuff)

Ah well, life goes on.

I have been reading a LOT of Paulo Coelho's works lately,

(explains the inconsistency of blogging, charge me guilty)

and it really makes me think about life in a more intense way.

In one of his novels, Veronika Decides to Die, he writes about a girl, trying to commit suicide.

She failed, and got admitted to the Vilette Asylum. (which, in modern, harsh words- the madhouse.)

During her course of stay there, she meets schizophrenics, psychopaths, and oerfectly normal people.

Paulo stresses that they may be in the madhouse, but they are not sick in the head at all.

They just did something different in the society, something so different to the extent that the society cannot accept it, and to make themselves feel better, they heartlessly claim that those people are mad.

One very interesting part was :

Have you ever asked someone what is the use of a tie? It's just a cloth you tie around your neck, with no functional purposes, just because it makes you look like you are part of the corporate world.

So isn't tying a purposeless cloth around your neck mad? And yet society look up to you when you wear a tie- they name you formal. Why? Because tying that cloth of no exact purpose is considered acceptable in society.

So when a person ties a string around his neck and walk on streets, society concludes them as mad. Why?

"It has no function! That person must be mad!" so one says.

So explain the tie you're wearing. Is that functional?

"Well, everybody's wearing it."

So to conclude- some mad people are not really mad, they just did something different- so different it is unacceptable in society.

People that wear their undergarments outside used to be the works of a mad person.

But look around Times Square today.

Heck, we can't even tell which are the clothes- and which are the undergarments.

Okay, yesterday 20 students were absent.

Our class had 41 students.

The ironic thing was, Briggita, Wei Yeen and Ti Jing came.

The post mortem thingy was done, and everybody's results were announced on a mic, in front of the whole class! So then there's this pentadbir lady will start nagging and talking nonsense about our results.

Well, nobody seemed to be bothered by it.

So we went back to class, and Pn. Muhairene was like,

"why the gloomy faces? Come on, it's just a post mortem.. let me cheer you up with a joke!"

When I woke up, the first thing I had in mind was to catch up on some studying.

Everything changed in the blink of an eye.

New Moon came back to me last week, and I managed to keep it away from my sight- till this morning.

I assumed reading ONE PAGE wouldn't hurt..

I ended up craving for Eclipse.

Hema still has it. If it weren't for that, my plan for studying would blow.

Then, as if this distraction isn't strong enough, there's YOUTUBE!

So I said to myself- ahh, it's ONE video. COME ON!!

So I typed in New Moon trailer into the search box and voila!

It wasn't difficult to spot.

I watched it once already- but it still thrills me.

Edward Cullen looks far hotter in New Moon, seriously xD

AND his hotness reminded me of how we, the bunch of screaming girls used to chase "cullen" from upper six at school.

Yep, he was freaked out.

Then now I don't see him in school anymore.

Anyway nobody freaked out after looking at him NOW.

It was like the wind blew those times away.

His time was over once the D.A. fever kicked in, hardy har har.

Studied CHEMISTRY (yes can you believe it I studied)- so skipping school for 3 consecutive days has it's outcomes. At least I learnt something. I'm in a dilemma. Torn between sleeping to avoid that piercing headache and watching the movie I just downloaded- Over Her Dead Body.

To the people of the world, LYNN IS BACK!

I'm back sick, which makes a difference with the other "I-am-back"s.

So, sorry I haven't updated the blog, I left it to grow mushrooms (yet again) because I was running low on cash and the oh-so-perfect mind of mine requested me to sell mushrooms, bred off my own blog.

I was kidding.

Anyway, this post is going to be very long, so if you are in a hurry, don't bother reading this post yet-because it doesn't sound as nice when you read it in quarters. A few days back, I had an awesome dream. I was somewhere else- and that place had blue skies and large, green fields.

Please note that those fields looked really lush and DRY, unlike what our school field looks like- constantly muddy with patches of different shades of green.

Then it hit me. Why am I still here, in Malaysia? I should be outside, exploring. I would say it is sheer coincidence, or maybe (what I believe in) FATE. My parents were discussing paths for myself after the royal pain a.k.a SPM was over and done with. They were forcing me to WORK! I didn't want to earn, I wanted to spend it somewhere far away, ALONE. Then again, travelling alone doesn't sound so appealing. I want to travel with my FRIENDS! So I told them my plan (which was conjured in my head as I was speaking to them) of working in New Zealand, while travelling. I expected a big "No" for a reply- but guess what? Their eyes were SPARKLING. Suddenly they were blabbing away with the opportunities there, and the next moment, all three of us- (mum, dad and I) crammed at the couch, looking at the flights available.

We had to choose the exact flight my sister was leaving in, because for one- I don't think I can really take a flight alone. My sis is coming back on the last day of SPM, and leaving again on 1st of March. So I was supposed to get on the flight on the 1st of March, the direct flight to Auckland. The return ticket was costed at RM 3,977. When my sister purchased it, it was costed at RM 3,077. That's a nine-oh-oh difference! So then the plan was cancelled due to spending too much money on the trip alone.

So my mum was a tad bit disappointed, and she prayed. Her prayer (quoted from herself) sounded like, Lord if Lynn is destined to go there, please grant us cheaper flight tickets on that same day.

So one fine day she just clicked on the SAME DATE, SAME FLIGHT NUMBER, SAME DESTINATION- and the ticket was priced at RM 3,277.

I was... astounded. It was really unexpected, so my mum and I clicked "refresh" for around 5 times. SO we discussed with my dad, and so we went on to book it.

My really smart dad (no sarcasm there) clicked on the wrong date, i.e. 4th of March, 3 days after my sister's arrival there. Nobody realised that till- the tickets were priced at RM 2,400. Mum and I were like, WTH?! Then we saw the date- and it was a different date. But my dad bought that ticket nonetheless, because my sis would need to settle something else before I move in to her apartment.

30 minutes after that fruitful discussion on how I should be careful and blabby doo blah, the ticket was succesfully purchased!

I know it's pretty early to be doing this, as it is close to 8 months away- but bookings need to be made early for cheaper flight tickets.

(not to mention that I was supposed to repay the ticket by WORKING there)

So I'm leaving on the 4th of March, and (hopefully not) coming back on 28th of May.

Why hopefully not? Because hopefully by that time I would be able to obtain a Work Permit, thus work my way to getting a PR, thus get cheap fees to study there.

Well- I still can't believe this happened.

Back to the present, I still am sick, although the cough is subsiding. My voice is getting less sexier now, but the headache isn't getting any better. The FLU is starting to annoy me because I cannot SMELL anything, therefore consuming food is more pain than pleasure. The fever comes on and off- which is great news, because it shows that the pandemic hadn't hit me.

So I went to the doctor yesterday, (which was totally unneccessary because I felt FINE) due to the endless nags by both parties at home, i.e. mum and dad. So I have cough syrup, 2 different pills and one type of tablet. The tablet is the worst out of the rest. The cough syrup tastes terribly sweet and highly concentrated, and as if I cannot bear the taste while swallowing, I wasn't allowed to consume fluid or food till 30 minutes after I took the syrup. It's terrible, but I'm getting used to it. Great news! The pills are easy to go through- but the tablet... It's bitter. Pills are bearable because you can't really taste it, and the chances of it getting stuck at your throat decreases with practice. (lol) The tablet, because of it's taste, I prefer to put it UNDER my tongue while trying to swallow- which makes the process slower and more life-threatening.

One more thing about the medicine- two of it is supposed to cause drowsiness, but I don't suffer from the effects AT ALL. I don't feel sleepy. It's a good thing that the painkillers are working, though.

It's just the common cold but I'm making a big fuss out of it, because this is the first time I got sick this year! Yipee! This is the only time where my dad encourages me to skip school and stay home. So, I will be skipping school till next Monday. (*evil laugh*)

I hope I'll be able to go to BB though, because there's some stuff I need to settle before the anniversary.

Certain times I would have just made a scene and start yelling, crying and telling how much burden I'm carrying, telling the world about my now shattering life- but I chose not to, because life is hard- but complaining does not make anything easier.

Certain times I really wanted to break down, be irresponsible and get sick. But I don't want their pity, I just want their heart and sincerity. It seems really fake, and YES, I am a hypocrite. The way I act around people was never how I felt. YES, I used to cover it up and just paste that smiling face, laughing as loud and as hard as I could- it feels different. But sometimes, when you act like someone else too much, that someone else might actually end up to be you. Which, in this case didn't sound bad at all- being that "happy-go-lucky-everybody-loves-me" girl. People tend to treat you that way when they start to know you too well. As more time passes, they think that she doesn't care and they stopped caring about her feelings. I should have continued doing this, then everybody would have thought I was strong, independant and tough. But I'm too bloody upset to care anymore.

And yeah, I don't care about the feelings of others either, right?

You wanna just say,

"HEY WHY DON'T YOU JUST LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND TELL YOURSELF THAT?"

or,

"I dare you to say that you never did that to anyone else before!"

or,

"Hey I'm kidding- what are you, ruining my name because of one bloody joke? you call yourself a friend?"

or,

"Dude. Chillax- my life is worse, so you better get contented."

WHATEVER. Call me mentally deranged, desperate, depressed, pitiful-

I don't bloody care.

True, true.. hard to believe that these words are coming out now.

Funny how normal friends can get me so happy.

Funny how my best- really best friends stood by me through all the other hard times; and I hadn't appreciated them enough. They're the people that I hug and smile just as I see them. We might argue, but we'd never stand being mad at each other for more than a day. =)

Funny how certain "true" friends can get me so upset.

I guess you can't really predict what happens next.

TODAY -

I understood why working adults are always so grumpy.

-their jobs are so stressful they just don't have the spirit to smile anymore.

I know why certain singers take drugs.

-it is never easy to cheer people up by spreading positive energy. Sometimes all it takes is a smile, but sometimes a smile is not good enough.

I realised that sometimes the only solution was not to solve, but to discard.

-not all problems can be solved through negotiation; sometimes you just have to get rid of it and move on.

I found out that it's easy to forgive, but hard to forget.

-no matter how much good deeds you did, it only takes one mistake to take it all down.

I learnt that true frinds really exists, and those that walk out on you- aren't.

-whenever you're distressed, your true friend will emerge, despite the chaos happening. They don't walk out at times when you really, really need them.

I realised that things are not always what they seem.

-people may see two people as friends, but when a problem arises, the friends are the first to accuse each other.

I understood what one misunderstanding could cause.

-when the wrong message is sent, it will lead to a more flawed message, and soon it turns into a WHOLE BIG MESS. And nobody wants to do the dirty work; so we leave it as it is, shedding tears along the way.

I learnt why we should broaden our minds and never, never judge according to our assumptions.

-assumptions lead to the wrong judgements, and the wrong judgements brings you to take the wrong actions, and the wrong actions lead to wrong arguments, and another well developed relationship is down the drain.

I found out how trouble can be doubled.

-chaos leads to panic, and panic leads to unstable emotions. Unstable emotions lead to arguments, and arguments bring further chaos.

I realised that the loudest isn't always the most rational.

-say all the vulgarities you want, wipe your anger on everybody else around you- does that make you feel better? No.

I figured you cannot improve by lectures, but by encouragements.

-you can scream your head off, or you can encourage them to be better. Take your pick.

I learnt that the pleasant end of a bad day is the lemonade you get.

-when life throws you lemons- make lemonade. When life throws you problems, turn them into lessons. The learning process heals- if you learn it the right way.

I understood the phrase "there's always a rainbow after the rain."

-despite all the madness going on in school, at the end of the day there's always someone there to offer you some ice cream. =)

-there's always friends you could count on.

-and there's always, always something to be grateful for.

If we had a camera crew that recorded what happened in class today, it would be an award winning show. We had the beginning, the rising action, the climax; two climaxes, to be precise- we had conflict, and we had a resolution.

If I was given a chance to repeat secondary school; without a doubt, I would.

SO.. today was the EST exhibition.. whenever there's a competition, make sure other competitiors see your model on the last day. Because people will copy your idea and steal your car!!

So after the exhibition we went to Kah Hoe's house!! xD

He was scared cuz got 3 girls and him. So he asked TK to come along =x

Ugly Betty Season 3 ended today.

...sighhhh.

Stupid ending.

Molly died, Marc didn't get promoted, Betty broke up with Matt, Matt becomes the new boss of Mode, and Wilhelmina wants to kill Connor to get back the money he stole.

But the saddest part was Molly dying. It was expected, but nobody wanted it to happen- and when Daniel was giving the speech for the MAMA awards, he saw Molly. But Molly wasn't there, according to Betty.

He rushed to Molly's right after that, to find her body taken out into an ambulance.

It's so shallow to go depressed over a drama, but the ending made me tear. =(

Ah well, in season 5 Daniel and Betty gets together, although that wasn't ending I would have wanted. Molly and Daniel were just so perfect together. *sobs*

I CAN'T WAIT TO SINK MY TEETH INTO SEASON 4!! I'D BUY THE DVD IF I HAVE TO!!

sighh.

Another teacher had a heart-to-heart with me.

This would be the 4th. Sighhhh.

My results were terrible, but I got over it.

Now they keep reminding me about it =.=

Cik Rashidah taught me in Form 3.

And she asked me if I was depressed or stressed out, because she

"dah tak nampak muka happy-go-lucky kamu tu lah, lynn.."

..I didn't know what to tell her. Because I was 100% confused.

Then she said, "kamu tak payah peduli apa orang lain cakap, kamu focus pada SPM kamu tu, boleh?"

She gave the that disappointed-slash-sorry look to me.

Seriously I felt like dying weyh.

And what did she mean by apa orang lain cakap?

bluudy butterflies. The guilt gets worse, and the more the teachers try to care about me,

(or so I thought)

the more I felt obliged to repaying them, the more I feel angry at myself for dissing them.

SOMETHING is definitely wrong with me.

I'm suspecting Traumatic Social Disorder (TSD),

for not texting anybody since 12 days ago,

for appearing offline most of the time,

I wish I had 48 hours in a day.

I wish I had some kind of talent.

I wish I had someone to take care of me.

I wish I could stop thinking about how others will react in whatever I do, and be afraid of it.

I wish I could quit.

I wish I could just tell someone that I think living my life is hard enough, I dont have to hear how tough yours has been.

I wish I could be myself-

because the friends that mind wont matter, but the friends that matter won't mind.

But one thing I would never wish for- more love.

Because I have enough from the people around me.

"Be content", I always tell others.

I thank God for His mercy, that forgives me no matter how big a sin I commited.

I thank God for my family, that never, ever fails me.

I thank God for good friends, good influence, and very, very good sisters and brothers.

I thank God for giving me education.

I thank God for sending the angels to help me through difficult times.

I thank God for the people that care about me.

I thank God for peace in Malaysia.

I thank God for health- mine and my loved ones.

So many requests, so little to thank for. It makes us ponder, what kind of people are we, really?

Why are we never contented?

I woke up with a start. My heart was still beating, and I stole a glance of my wall clock. Oh, it's Monday. 6.30am is way too early to wake up on Mondays. But a schedule is a schedule, and I have to follow it.

OH MY GOSH THEY'RE DEAD! No they're not. It's a play. What has gotten into you, Lynn? What? Oh, right. I thought I was dreaming. ...So how's it going? Well, it takes some getting used to from the new cast- but all's fine. all's fine. I swear that woman hasn't brushed her teeth since I met her. Her breath was revolting. Ugh. My throat is parched- from the fire, I guess. Whoa, coolness, the cup just appeared! A sip, just a teeny sip of drink would do. Wait- why is the cup empty??

IT'S 7.15 ALREADY??! WHAT?!? I thought I woke up at 6.30! What happened!?? Oh I hate myself. I rushed down the bed and swept some books and a magazine into my bag. My keys! Where'd I put my keys?! I piled all my minis together and stuffed it into my pocket. They fell on the floor. Dang, my uniform. Rushing to the bathroom, the so-called utility room and my bedroom, I finally got brushed and dressed. ...and with nothing tornor spilt! Now that is something worth remembering. I can barely recall the dream, but I knew it was weird, and it had a lot of colours. I need bananas for breakfast. Wait- what am I doing, walking around my room? I need something. Oh, right. Breakfast. Stupid panic attack. Adrenaline rush, hardy har har. Oh, there's Brio today- *groans* reproduction. If there was any chapters that can compete with History, it was reproduction. Dang, and my homework. Where'd I put that paper?I have to focus. Breakfast. I looked at the clock. A WHOLE FIVE MINUTES HAS PASSED!! Forget breakfast! Charging to the front door, armed with my keys, I put on my socks and shoes at the fastest time imaginable- and before I knew it, I'm out on the streets. I reached to the back pocket of my bag to reveal my comb, elastic band and the pod. WHAT THE HECK IS THE IPOD DOING IN MY BAG? It's too late to go back. Sigh, another week is here. Everything happens so fast, and if only my brains didn't live in a different time zone, 12 hours away; I wouldn't be late. Jet lag. Maybe my dream took place in Taiwan or something. That would explain that pounding pulse drumming at my temples. Oh, look, school! Judging by the aount of people still walking up the hill, I'm not late! Great, no need to rush; just walk faster. I wish someone I knew would walk around the corner- that would calm my heart from that jimmy jacking- against time. Why isn't ANYBODY climbing up the stairs?! I'm late enough, and now the world is messing with me?

"Girls, 3 lines on my left. Guys, 3 lines on my right"

Dang, I'm late. 6 damn lines of latecomers? Looks like I wasn't the only one who had brain jet lag.

"EXCUSE ME!!" Whoa, sounds like some drama queen. Missy, didn't anyone tell you this is the you're-in-trouble line?

"HEY LYNN!!" Oh. Vanessa. I laughed at myself. How could I have expected somebody else, right?

"Hey! You're late too? Cool!!"

"YEP. Woke up at 7-oh-5. You?"

"7.15.", I flashed a smile. "World breaking record- took 5 minutes to get dressed. I lost a few books on the way, though."

"Typical. Sighhhh WHYYYY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN?!? IT'S MONDAY MORNING!!"

"Yeah, aren't Mondays just the best? Let's make a run for it."

"Mm Hmm."

"So we sneak into class, leave our bags, go to the toilet, then sit at the line upstairs."

"Great! You do it."

"We can actually do that, y'know? Nobody's watching. The prefects are gone, we're at the back of the line...."

"Coast is really clear. Weird. Y'know, this is just like prison break."

"I don't watch that show."

"That guy is hot. Seriously."

"No, he has scars."

"So we running or not??!"

"Too late. They're already entering class."

"Perfect! Now!!"

"Hang on, I can see Hema..!!" I waved at Hema, Pavi and Ginny gave me the it stare.

Vanessa gave me the stare too. "Yep. Should have known better." she says.

"They're like, my favourite people. How can I not wave?"

"Psst, guys!" Okay. Is that weird sound asking for me? I turned. Oh Dead Kittens! It's Uthaya!! She's trying to communicate with us. Why is she whispering? It's so noisy here. She made a gesture for us to follow her. Wow, she's asking us to ESCAPE! I would have done just that, when missyVee had to say,

"take her bag. We can't leave."

WHY NOT?!? Oh. Prefects. I should have waited till 8.30. At that point, I was downright mad at myself. Blaming the dream, blaming the weather, the stupid bus that almost killed me but didn't, all that crap.

Well, at least we're getting this over with. It's just writing your name. No biggie.

"Guys, please proceed to Muhibbah Square. Girls, from three lines, according to your forms."

I was almost relieved when suddenly some of the girls took out their handphones and other gadgets and hid it under a plant. An inspection? Great, I only have three books. I'm toast.

I looked to the front, curious at how an inspection works, because some girls at the fron t were giggling.

"Sorry, girls. But I have to do this." The teacher held out her hands, patted on the pockets of that girl, and took out her wallet. Then she moved upwards and patted her sides. Still normal, I thought. No harm done. Then she was tapping below the girl's 'assets'. I was... dumbfounded. I didn't know how to react. Then suddenly,

the iPod.

"Vanessa, I brought my iPod."

She gasped. "Keep it somewhere. Put it in your pencilcase."

"She's coming already! I can't get her suspicious!!"

She walked to the teacher, got inspected, gave me a sorry look, and was forced to go.

Oh, Kitty. I'm dead. I slipped the iPod to my chest pocket. I wasn't THINKING RIGHT!! The prefect came to inspect my bag, and it took her only less than a minute. The teacher marched to me, and I felt my pinafore shaking. Did I bring my phone, too?? How did all these things GET here anyway?? And why did it have to vibrate now?? I put my right hand into my pocket, only to find the skirt shaking more vigorously. There was no phone. It was my hands that were trambling, shaking the skirt in return. CRAP! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN TO ME??! I need to avoid inspection. I need to avoid inspection now!

"Sorry, but I have to do this, okay?"

Do what? What is she doing?? She tapped my pockets, took out my wallet and saw the David Archuleta pictures I slipped in.

"Ini apa ni? Boyfriend kamu ke??" She's talking to me. What, now pictures are illegal?

"YA CIKGU." Damn, did I just say that? Oh Boy Oh Boy Oh Boy.She tapped my keys.

"Keys saya cikgu." That sounded wrong. That sounded like I wanted her to kiss me. NO!!!! I wish I would die. I'm terrified to bits, and I need a plan to escape, before she lays her rough, untreated hands on my assets!! (Okay, that was weird. Guys, ignore this please.) Hey, I skipped breakfast. Maybe if I held my breath longer I might pass out and she can let me go. Or I can just scream some nonsense and start crying. Or push her away and start a lecture about human rights. I'd go with the human rights, it's easier, less time consuming and I already have my introduction planned out.

"Ini apa ni?"

I was so preoccupied with my plans that she already did it! Oh, dang, I hate my jet lagging brains. She looks like she wants an answer. She was grabbing my uniform and was asking what in the world is that small rectangular hard thing in my pocket.

"Saya tak tahu la Cikgu!!"

I snorted. Like she would fall for that. I mean, what stupid answer was that? What- like suddenly I'm Madonna with metal assets? Oh please. She reached into the pocket and took the iPod out. I can bet my face had no color. How do I get away with this? SHe'll confiscate it for sure! Then goodbye singing in the bathroom! Okay I don't do that but I was about to. I considered buying a new one before my dad found out. I considered asking Pavi to get it back for me. I considered civil rights, hit and run, crying, anxiety,- a million things were in my head all too soon. The teacher handed my iPod to another teacher. She used to teach me last year. I hope I handed in enough homeworks for her to let me go. Then again, I didn't do any of her homework. But she still likes me, and the warmth I had everytime I greet her in school. I think.

"Ini apa ni?"

"AAAAASAYA tak tau laa."

"Ini iPod kan?"

"..ya. tapi cikgu, handphone saja tak boleh, kan? kamera dan iPod semua boleh kan?"

She's considering that. Pleasebuyit pleasebuyit pleasebuyit.

"Awak ada dengar dalam kelas tak?"

"Tak ada, cikgu." ...the nerve of some people. Sigh.

"Habis tu mengapa awak bawa?"

"Saya keluar yesterday...pastu hari ini bangun lewat.." I think that was what happened.

"Esok jangan bawa lagi." She handed it back to me. She let me go? Like, for real? No tricks? No scam? Oh, I am BRILL. And no recorded name! Oh I'm FABULOUS. I rushed off to class to tell them what happened.

After the wohle story was laid out, Angela's reaction was-

"WHY YOU LET HER TOUCH? GO TOUCH HERS BACK LA!!"

Now that reaction made me feel like a normal person once again. I am thankful, for not getting caught. I mean, for not getting punished. A few of my friends suggested suing her, and pressing charges, and I'm glad I finally sent in a lawyer letter addressed to her.

So~ today's my dad's birthday.

and I bought him "the thing".. glad he liked it xDD

July is the month where too many birthdays were happening.

I wanted to get Ginny some Stage products, so went Mid Valley today-

and as usual, I got carried away and forgot all about it =.=

Wanted to get someone something, (not mentioning cuz its not tht person's bday yet =.=)

but couldn't find T.T

So ended up only bought for one person so far.

But boy I love spending money =.=

heh. xDD

SOOOOO... I have blisters at my feet for wearing heels to Mid.. again xDD

it's actually good, because it restrains you from walking too much,

thus you will go home earlier. xP
